Kruger NP & Kingdom

Day 1

Begin your day with a Meet & Greet at OR Tambo International airport where you will be transferred to a 5* hotel in Sandton. Upon checking in you can enjoy your first exploration with an afternoon Apartheid Museum and Soweto Tour with a delectable lunch. Then head back to your hotel and have the rest of the afternoon to yourself. Meet at the foyer for the itinerary briefing with your tour guide. Retire for the evening.

Day 2

Breakfast then check-out. Head to Pretoria, the Capital City of South Africa. Your guide will give you an orientation of the city before continuing to Hazyview, Mpumalanga (Nguni word meaning “Where the sun rises”).  Drive past the historic towns of Dullstroom and Lydenburg and take in the lush scenery of the sub-tropical region of the lowveld. Arriving in the late afternoon you will check in and enjoy the rest of the afternoon to yourself. You can use this time to explore the lodge. Refresh for Dinner.

Day 3

Wake up to a delectable breakfast before taking the Panoramic Tour. On your tour you will enjoy the views of the scenery including the 26-kilometre Blyde Canyon (home to the Three Dondavels). Visit Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the historic God’s window. Catch a glimpse of the of the escarpment taking in the Kruger National Park (weather permitting). Transfer back to the hotel to enjoy the rest of the afternoon and freshen up for dinner.

Day 4

An early coffee or tea to wake you up for morning drive. Head to the Kruger National Park for an open vehicle game drive with a prepacked breakfast. In search of the Big 5 (the Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant and the array of birdlife and other game species. During the drive there will be a short presentation on Anti-poaching Dog Unit where you will learn how the watchdog assists the anti-poaching team to combat rhino poaching. A portion of the package price goes towards the Anti-poaching Dog Unit program. Transfer back to the hotel where you will have the afternoon at leisure. Refresh for Dinner.

Day 5

Today after breakfast you check out and head to The Kingdom of eSwatini, an independent kingdom within the boarders of South Africa. Take in the scenery en-route eSwatini and sighting of the big-5. Embrace the warmth of the Swati people,the culture and the vibrance of the Kingdom. Arriving at Ezulwini (Swati work meaning “Heaven”) in the early afternoon you will check in and refresh for dinner.

Day 6

Check out after your breakfast to leave for South Africa. Upon your entry in South Africa, you will meander through the endless vista and traditional huts arriving in Hluhluwe-iMfolozi in the afternoon. Check in and refresh for an open vehicle drive in the Game reserve to discover an array of Fauna and Flora, look out for the white Rhino. Rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Day 7

After breakfast head to the village for the Khula village tour. Here you will learn about the Amazulu people. If you are brave enough visit a traditional healer for a reading. Enjoy a traditional , get something to take hoe at craft marker and spend some time with a family in the homelands. Enjoy a traditional lunch then hop on a barge boat for a Hippo and Crocodile Cruise. After a fun filled afternoon, head back to the hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 7

You last morning, enjoy your breakfast then check out to transfer to King Shaka International Airport.
